I started The Resilient Mind project to help my husband, both in his personal and work life. In 2012, a team of thought-leading academics, clinical professionals, educators and former Canadian Ministers of Health formed The Resilient Mind™ Project to determine the most effective way to help people increase their resilience. Their investigations, together with advances in behavioral sciences, resulted in the development of The Resilient Mind™ program.
We are an award-winning organization whose products and solutions are used by over 3000 psychologists, psychotherapists and government agencies. Used in 24 countries, 28 universities and the US Military.
ICF-Accredited Training Program – Meeting the highest standards set forth by ICF.
Our comprehensive, online interactive group training uses a variety of adult learning principles including gamification, mentor support and micro-learning enablement tools. We incorporate four group-work modalities and five learning methods for maximum impact and retention. TRM follows an optimized training schedule over 10 weeks or 22.5 hours. Participants who complete the program experience, a minimum of an 18% increase in personal resilience and 27 CCE credits.
How it Works
Each training session is 90 minutes. The training is supported through an app where participants have a personal dashboard to record their goals, measure and track their progress, read and complete questions in an e-Learning book.
Participants have access to their facilitator for mentorship through the app for additional support and are prompted to journal on specific topics.
The program provides the opportunity for participants to learn seven fundamental traits of resilience, three of which cover skill development in emotional intelligence.
A Certificate of Completion is awarded to those who attend all 7 weeks of group training and finish all the e-Learning exercises.
