Step 2 — Build Awareness and Set Personal Goals
Registered participants download the TRM app & complete the pre-training session activities.
They learn about resilience and emotional intelligence and begin developing awareness of their own strengths, patterns, and areas for growth. Participants identify personal goals and begin focusing on the skills they want to strengthen during the nine-week program.
Step 3 — Participate in Seven Live Experiential Training Sessions
Participants then take part in seven 1.5hr facilitated experiential game training sessions.
Rather than simply ingesting information, participants enter a structured environment where they can practice new behaviours and skills.
Gamification is used to create realistic scenarios that encourage participants to make decisions, interact with others, reflect on their responses, and experience the consequences of different choices in a low-risk environment.
Through guided activities, discussion, reflection, practice, and feedback, participants work on areas including:
- Resilience
- Relationship skills
- Emotional intelligence
- Conflict resolution
- Emotional regulation
- Boundaries
- Self-awareness
- Decision-making
- Communication
Step 4 — Reinforce Learning Between Sessions
Learning continues between the live game sessions through two, fifteen min short micro-learning activities delivered through The Resilient Mind app (this creates top-of-mind).
Step 5 — Continue Growth Beyond the Nine Weeks
Resilience and emotional intelligence are not developed through a single event.
They are lifelong capabilities that continue to strengthen through practice.
After completing the nine-week program, participants remain connected through the TRM app for six months.
During this period they can:
- Continue accessing learning material
- Reinforce skills learned during the program
- Remain connected with their group
- Continue reflecting on personal goals
- Continue using the AI coach
- Participate in advanced training opportunities
- This extended support is designed to help participants continue applying what they learned after the live training has ended.
Note: Our clinical team at TRM is constantly evolving aftercare technology to keep practical support tools available to participants after the formal training ends.
Developing new ways of thinking, responding, and relating takes continued practice and repetition. Old patterns can be deeply established, and new patterns become stronger when they are reinforced consistently over time.
After participants complete the nine-week TRM program, the app shifts into an ongoing support role through Sarah, our digital AI coach. Sarah helps keep key skills top of mind by prompting participants to continue practicing and applying what they have learned in everyday life.
